GARDEN and GROUNDS
IF: You enjoy the contact of God’s creative flora, IF: You miss dabbling in the garden, IF: You want to help Mother Nature keep her “children” orderly — then, there is a welcome place for you in our wee garden group. Our main tasks are: weeding, raking leaves, pruning, planting and watering. Hopefully the hedge and grass cutting are handled by others. We have lovely patio and garden areas, and the use of three rolling bins for yard refuse. Useful tools are garden gloves, small clippers, a trowel and a small seat. The church has rakes, brooms and shovels. No set times are scheduled for light maintenance; so if you can donate some time, have a quick look around to see what area of interest suits you best. (Some obsessions, like Morning Glory elimination, are acceptable!)
