Ash Wednesday Soup Supper for PWRDF

On Ash Wednesday evening people gathered for the annual Soup Supper to raise funds for the Primate's World Relief Development Fund (PWRDF). Some videos were shown to highlight some of the excellent work being done in Canada and overseas. Following the meal, people moved to the church to observe Ash Wednesday with a Eucharist and the imposition of Ashes. We are marked with ash on our foreheads to remind us of our mortality and we begin the 40 days of Lent in preparation for Easter.
